There are so many beautiful pictures put on this list, that at
first I didn't dare to show mine. But then I thought: what the
hack, there's nothing wrong with my products! So here is one.
The background is (obviously) made with Chris Colefax's beautiful
Galaxy Generator - which always gives nice backgrounds
(especially when you're lazy, like I was). The scene was build
with Moray. Personally I'm jealous at all you guys who can make
beautifully looking teapots, landscapes, perfect looking images
of objects, etc., I honestly don't know how to make them or how
to _start_ making them. I tried working with sPatch, but I don;t
understand a bit of that program. I tried to make the shape of
the children's rabbit Miffy (for our Dutch readers: Nijntje) her
head with it, of which I thought it was quite a basic shape. But
I didn't succeed at all. Therefore I mostly stick to basic
shapes, which, when using CSG, can also give good results.
This picture doesn't use CSG, only lots of toruses and spheres.
And halos, lots of halos - don't we _all_ like halos?
I enjoyed making it, but didn't bother to give it a name - I
don't feel enough like an artist yet to give names to my 'art'.
How would YOU name a thing like this?
I've compressed the image as much as possible without losing too
much of the quality. I still hope it's not too big.
Greetings,
Harmen Mesker.
